God help Canada.

First off today we have a disgusting CBC segment on This Hour has 22 minutes where the actor begins by taking the Lord's name in vain in a crude manner like someone from the proverbial locker room. I know this is fine with some people but pretty disgusting behaviour that I can't imagine our tax-payer funded broadcaster would ever get away with if the object of their ridicule were Muslims. The actor then proceeds to ridicule and make fun of the fact that new MPP Sam Oosteroff is against abortion. So very funny (apparently). Naturally anyone who is anti-abortion must be made fun of, right?

And the CBC says they are not biased for abortion? I'd like to see the CBC make fun of pro-choice people. Haha.

Then we have the media being totally moronic about insisting that new MPP Sam Oosterhoff answer their questions about same-sex marriage. Oosterhoff kept insisting he had already answered their questions the day before. Not good enough. Oosterhoff actually remained very gracious in his attempts to focus on his first day as an MPP by celebrating with friends and family. But the ignorant media were having none of that. I would not have been as kind as Oosterhoff. I'm pretty sure.

Last but not least, we learn that a teenager doesn't feel "safe" because her teacher said he was against abortion. The un-named teacher said:

“I find abortion to be wrong...but the law is often different from our personal opinions.”

This is where the story gets really scary:

"A little later, the class had a five-minute break, and when it resumed, several students didn’t return, among them a popular young woman who had gone to an administrator to complain that what the teacher said had “triggered” her such that she felt “unsafe” and that, in any case, he had no right to an opinion on the subject of abortion because he was a man."

What happened next was outrageous. The teacher first apologized, but this wasn't enough. He was fired.

The girl feels unsafe? Are you kidding me? Babies in the womb are not safe. The teacher who was fired for believing that slaughtering unborn babies was wrong...was not safe. Now the teacher's family is not safe because their dad lost his job because he believes that abortion is wrong. That's not safe.

Remember Nazi Germany? When Jews were persecuted? When Jews were not safe? When Jewish academics and others were prevented from working?

This is where Canada has got to. Except now it's Christians.

When Justin Trudeau said that pro-life people can't belong in his party, the rot started at the top. And now it's making its way downward.

Wake up people. This will only get worse.

Pro-abortion people really hate it when we compare the slaughter of the unborn by abortion to the Holocaust. They hate it because they know it's the truth. And they really hate the truth.

Poland and Hitler and abortion

The Polish compare abortion to Hitler. Makes complete sense since the Polish lost six million souls during the Holocaust, 3,000,000 Jews and 3,000,000 Christians (mostly Catholics).

The Polish know about genocide.

Henry Morgentaler

Brian Lilley's thoughts on the recent death of Henry Morgentaler (see full video below). Lilley says:

"Henry Morgentaler was not a great man, he was a mistaken man. He brought great evil to this country."

...while Heather Mallick is worried about women being "frozen in shock" and crying on their keyboard.

Oh dear. My keyboard is dry.

The Natural Law: the innocent should not be attacked of killed

In this installment (#31 Laws and Virtues, 9433.mp3) of "Get a life in Christ", Father Benedict Groeschel discusses the laws: the law of Human Nature called the Natural Law:
"The Natural law is those convictions, those rules that are necessary for human life to survive. The first rule of the natural law is that we must do good and avoid evil. The natural law is absolutely essential for the survival of the society...the most important criminal trial in the twentieth century, was tried on the natural law: the Nuremberg war trial, where the Nazis were on trial. They could not be tried by the law of the German Reich, because the Nazis hadn't violated that law. Their plea was that they had done what they were told to by the law of the Reich. And in fact they were tried and convicted, and many of them were executed for violations of the natural law, specifically that the innocent should not be attacked or killed."

Fr. Groeschel also discusses Divine law and how it works with the Natural Law.

And he discusses conscience:
"We need to incorporate the law of God by a good conscience. St Thomas Aquinas says" The natural law is nothing other than the light of understanding, placed is us by God so that we know what we must do, and what we must avoid. God has given us His law at our creation." Without conscience we can do very very little in life. The Vatican Council stated in GAUDIUM ET SPES:

"In the depths of his conscience, man detects a law which he does not impose upon himself, but which holds him to obedience. Always summoning him to love good and avoid evil, the voice of conscience when necessary speaks to his heart: do this, shun that. For man has in his heart a law written by God; to obey it is the very dignity of man; according to it he will be judged.(9) Conscience is the most secret core and sanctuary of a man. There he is alone with God, Whose voice echoes in his depths."

Fr. Groeschel ends by saying:
"It is conscience that makes us different from animals, it is conscience that makes us noble creatures."

Interesting parallels there between the Nuremberg trials, conscience, and the current global abortion holocaust.
