I just received the same form letter response from Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, as did Theresa Winchester. Here is my reply to her and her feminist boss Justin Trudeau.

You say:

You are clearly of the opinion that as pro-life / Christian people, we "support discriminatory practices". Further you are also apparently of the opinion that we do not "respect the rights of all Canadians".

Do you have any idea how insulting that is to us? 

Not only are your opinions patently false but the irony here is that you and your government--and your leader Justin Trudeau and I guess all Liberals for that matter since all Liberals are forced to tow the party line--discriminate against us and refuse to respect our Charter rights. In fact why is it that your government has the gall to use our Charter of Rights and Freedoms as a justification for this deplorable behaviour you engage in?

We respect the rights of all Canadians, before and after birth, whereas your government can only find it in their hardened hearts to support those people who have the good fortune to make it out of the womb in one piece and not ripped apart in a bloody mess of death. 

What a terrible legacy your government will have once it finally leaves office: the most anti Charter rights government Canada has ever had and the most pro-abortion. This is embarrassing to all Canadians, to me, and to the world.

The cluster mess that is our federal government

It's too bad our politicians have such a difficult time grasping what rights are in our Charter of Rights and Freedoms. They just can't seem to grasp why we are upset with them when they ignore our actual rights all the while wanting us to honour their made up rights. 

I think Patty Hajdu and Justin Trudeau must listen to Joyce Arthur and other pro-abortions too much. As a result they actually believe the untruths Arthur repeats about "abortion rights".

Sad eh?

Read an email exchange below between Theresa Winchester and Minister Hajdu on the summer jobs program.

What nonsense you write.  

There is no individual human right to an abortion.  Look it up in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.  Look it up in the Supreme Court case law on the subject.  Nothing in our land has created a right to an abortion.  Just because something is repeated by an elected official does not make it law.  An elected official who does not understand the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms nor Supreme Court decisions is, well, let's just say "dangerous" rather than so many adjectives that come to mind.  

If you want a work "environment that respects the rights of all Canadians", let's start with the rights of the individuals who don't agree with the Liberal Party's take on the world.  Odd how their rights appear to be forgotten in the cluster mess that is our federal government.  Surely they are encompassed in the term "all Canadians".  Since when did belief in the views of the governing party become an integral part of the hiring criteria?  

I can not believe that you can even write such dribble.

Canadians support Cassie and Molly's Law

Great news on the results of a poll on Cassie and Molly's law:

"Poll confirms majority of Canadians support legislation that creates a new offence for criminals who knowingly injure or cause the death of a pregnant woman’s preborn child: Wagantall

Ottawa, ON – Today, MP Cathay Wagantall (Yorkton-Melville) released the results of a national poll that shows the majority of Canadians support legislation that will create a separate offence when a violent criminal knowingly injures or causes the death of a preborn child while committing a crime against a pregnant woman. 

According to the Nanos poll, a majority of Canadians are in favour of Cassie and Molly’s Law, with nearly 70% of respondents saying that they support a law that would make it a separate crime to harm or cause the death of a preborn child while harming a pregnant woman. Support among women is even higher at nearly 75%..."

Of course not all people are happy with this bill. They have to attack it. Which is really kind of pathetic. But Cassie and Molly's law is a fantastic piece of legislation. This law, which we now know the majority of Canadians support, would make a new offence in the case where a woman has chosen to keep her unborn child. It is a good law. A positive law. A law that provides extra protection for a woman who is carrying a child she loves and she wants.

This law has absolutely nothing to do with so-called "abortion rights". The pro-abortions think they have to protect these "rights" at all costs, at all times, never letting up in their relentless attack on anyone and anything they perceive would harm these precious sacred "rights" of theirs.

Their rabid ideology can only blind them. I feel sorry for them.

A letter to Justin - Can we talk?

Dear Justin,

I just read this. I think we need to talk.

You say that:

“I have had a lot of Liberals come up to me and say, 'I don’t quite understand, isn’t the Liberal party about freedom and about defending people’s rights?'"

“Absolutely it is. And the rights that women have fought for over decades to be in control of their own bodies and to control their own reproductive health is not a right I’m going to brush aside to defend the freedom of speech or the freedom to vote a particular way for an MP."

“If they vote in favour of restricting women's access to abortion, that’s taking away their rights. And that is something that we will not accept in the Liberal party. We are the party of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and that’s a serious, serious position that Liberals have to defend.

"It’s time the Liberal party actually defended rights,”

Now Justin, I'm pretty sure you're a fair to midland, smart kind of guy. And if you are, then I think you also know that there is no Charter right to abortion. Why do you keep saying there is a Charter right to abortion when you surely must know that there isn't?

Now there actually are freedom of speech rights and freedom of conscience rights, which of course morph nicely into "freedom to vote a particular way" rights. Got it? Conscience rights-yes. Abortion rights-no.

And you do know that a child in a mother's womb is not part of her body right? I'm sure you know this from school, it's called the science of Biology, you have heard of it, yes? Please tell me you have. I just couldn't sleep at nights if I thought you'd never heard of Biology before.

So please Justin, tell me please that you'll start getting your Biology and Charter rights--right. Okay? And if you need a bit of remedial help, please have a look here. You'll learn some amazing things.

Who will the MPS listen to?

Check out Ted Gerk's excellent analysis of what Chief Justice Bertha Wilson said about abortion rights and abortion law. And about how Parliament is the place for debate on this subject to take place.

We already know only too well, how many Canadians are influenced by the extreme pro-abortion advocates in this country and it is unfortunate, since much of what they say is a perversion and twisting of reality. As Ted points out the pro-abortions even contradict themselves, changing their tune as they scoot along their merry pro-abortion way.

As a result of this loud and noisy revisionist nonsense, many Members of Parliament are also afraid to allow Canadians to debate abortion on any level, even when the discussion is only about a discussion on when does a child become a human being.

As for the pro-abortions, are they afraid of what might happen if we get to have this discussion? That their abortion rights house of cards might come tumbling down?

Let's hope our MPs use their own consciences today to decide for themselves whether or not Canadians should be allowed to discuss the point of Stephen Woodworth's motion.
