Should an MP answer a constituent's questions?

I have a serious question. How does one get their MP to answer a sincere and respectful question? I have now asked my MP Mona Fortier, two questions (letter below), four times. I have not received a response from her.

So where does Fortier's support lie on the charitable status of religious organizations? I think that as her constituent, I have a right to know. 

If my political leanings were liberal and not conservative would she answer me then? 

Dear Mona Fortier,

• Do you support the continued recognition of religion as a basis for charitable status?
• Will you oppose any attempt to revoke charitable status based on a faith-based organization’s religious beliefs?
