Student Summer Jobs grants should be open to all Catholics

Dear Mark Carney,

I understand you are a Catholic. Well I have a question for you that is very important for all Catholics, and especially for student Catholics trying to get a job this summer. The Summer Jobs Program has increased the job grants this year by 6,000. This is great news. 

While CSJ was on track to create 70,000 jobs for youth this summer, Patty Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario, today announced up to 6,000 more Canada Summer Jobs opportunities. This will unlock new opportunities for Canadian youth and help our country build the strongest economy in the G7.

Since you are a practicing Catholic I'm sure you will agree with me that Catholic organizations who stand up for life issues, (because of course Catholics are pro-life) that you will change the criteria for the Summer Jobs Program to allow all Christian and Catholic groups to now be eligible for this program.

Can you please confirm for me that this will be the case?
