Dying with Dignity lobbies government all summer long

Dying with Dignity has been very busy this summer. While everyone else was on vacation, DWDC was lobbying MPs about their euthanasia ideology. 

(Reminder: lobbying for euthanasia is a very lucrative business for DWDC: donations were $3,791,596 in 2024; they had $9,231,137 in assets, of which $7,370,174 is in long term investments; their CEO earns between $200,000 and $249,999 a year. It is no wonder DWDC can lobby the government incessantly--they've got the finances to do so). 

They managed to lobby all of these MPs between July 15 and August 29.

Let's pay down the debt instead

According to the Canadian Taxpayer's Federation, Canada's current debt is almost $1.3 trillion. So what does the Liberal government do today? They announce MORE spending for their LGBTQ ideology.

Today, the Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), announced the achievements of the Federal 2SLGBTQI+ Action Plan, which continues to advance equality and address the challenges faced by these communities. Minister Valdez was joined by the Honourable Hedy Fry, Member of Parliament for Vancouver Centre, and Wade Chang, Member of Parliament for Burnaby Central.

The Government of Canada continues to make progress above and beyond these key initiatives:

• 2SLGBTQI+ Entrepreneurship Program – $25 million to help 2SLGBTQI+ entrepreneurs overcome barriers to starting and growing their businesses,
• Over 160 projects and capacity-building 2SLGBTQI+ initiatives – up to $75 million to promote inclusion and benefit everyone in Canada, and
• Unity – a public awareness campaign designed to help Canadians actively break down stigma against 2SLGBTQI+ communities through education, reflection and practical actions.

In addition, the federal government has provided $3 million to Fierté Canada Pride – $1.5 million in 2024 and in 2025 – to support the security needs of Pride festivals. This funding from Canada’s Action Plan on Combatting Hate helps offset increasing security and insurance costs for events across the country, amid rising levels of 2SLGBTQI+ hate.

As I have written before, the Liberals have already spent millions and millions on their LGBTQ pet projects. There doesn't seem to be an end to this spending. How about we start putting these millions towards our national debt instead?

The ghouls at Dying with Dignity, not only advocate for euthanasia, but they have the gall to suggest that once you're dead, you could even include their death cult in your will. I am not kidding.

Action Canada for Sexual Health and Reproductive Rights spends your taxes on abortion and contraception

Action Canada for Sexual Health and Reproductive Rights most recent lobbying of the government this week.

Their revenue for year ending 2024-06-30:

	Receipted donations $1,405,669.00 (13.11%)
	Non-receipted donations $86,134.00 (0.80%)
	Gifts from other registered charities $563,733.00 (5.26%)
	Government funding $6,214,388.00 (57.96%)
	All other revenue $2,452,805.00 (22.87%)

Total revenue: $10,722,729.00

Action Canada received $6,214,388 from the government in 2024. Their total salary costs were $3,268,787. If we add in professional and consulting fees of $727,931 and Education and training for staff and volunteers of $535,594, we get a total of $4,532,312. (Numbers from CRA)

We could say then, that about 73% of the government grants Action Canada for Sexual Health and Reproductive Rights receives, goes to salary costs, so these pro-deathers can then turn around and lobby the government to push for more abortion in Canada and internationally. And now they are also pushing for contraception in Canada and around the world.
