     Mr. Speaker, throughout this discussion this afternoon, I have been trying to understand what the Conservative objection to the combatting hate act actually is. The best I can tell is that they are asking for freedom from accountability, basically. In the bill, hate is defined as detestation or vilification. We have seen white nationalist rallies, public symbols of hate, the growth of white supremacist clubs, the diminishment of reproductive rights for women, anti-abortion hate, hate against women, hate against LGBTQ individuals, hate against trans individuals, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia—

Dear John-Paul Danko,

You talk about anti-abortion hate. There is no such thing. There is pro-choice hate however. We experience it every year at the March for Life. We also experience it every October during Life Chain where we are spat at, yelled at, given the finger to, and worse. Why don't you come out to one of these peaceful respectful pro-life events to see for yourself the hate we have to put up with? 

You also speak about "the diminishment of reproductive rights for women, anti-abortion hate, hate against women, hate against LGBTQ individuals, hate against trans individuals". Can you please explain why you think this? Because you might want to look at your government's spending on these pro-abortion/LGBTQ issues. The billions spent by your Liberal government doesn't sound like diminishment to me--sounds more like growth at an exponential rate.

I can assure you that your government does not spend billions on pro-life issues. In fact your Liberal government spends exactly $0 on "anti-abortion". And thanks to your Liberal government, the few dollars we received in the past for the summer jobs program, was revoked. As well, Pro-life people are banned from your Liberal party. 

Discriminating against pro-life people on such a massive scale as this, by your Liberal government, could rightly be called another kind of hatred. How about -- hatred of pro-life people by the government of Canada?

Hmmm...if the shoe fits.
